Well I knew my offense would be good but I really missed the ball with pitching. In retrospect I should have gone for a more traditional CF(instead of Tauchman) and downgraded catching and would have had roughly 3 million more to spend on a much better bullpen and an upgrade over Rodon in the starting rotation. 22 games under with a +10 run differential tells me we had a lot of blowout wins but completely sucked in extras (3-6) and 1 run games (11-27).

Luck plays a larger factor than most think. I'm 13 over in one run games, nythawk is 16 under--reverse that and where are standings??

My ten losses in a row may be helping. We've managed 17 runs in those 10 games. I need some help. :(

Wow! You lost 10 in a row? Ouch. Big series coming up between us. Hope you stay cold for one more series!!! ;) ;)

Hawk - Hindsight right? But, shoot, going -16 in one runners is going to kill you every time, just like Miller says.

I see that Semper has also had a rough patch and is now tied with Jeep. I *do* have the tiebreaker with Semp so...

My team has taken social distancing seriously - to the extent of not even getting on base. We should have called off the remainder of the season after game 141.

Rough again tonight although you stayed alive by taking game 3. Woodruff outpitching Gray. I have the tiebreaker with you by virtue of the 9-2 win in game one. The Run diff will be the decider. You'll have to make up 2 games on me (as you're one back) and Jeep (you went 5-7). I also went 5-7 v Jeep so need to get at least one more game than him over the last six.

Gotta face the red hot Stoney who, as soon as his team read the ratings said they should be REALLY good, started to play that way! :(  I think he's gone 12-6 since then. His magic number is 1 against me and he's already clinched against Spidey. Oh and we'll have to face him with out Heyward who... has sucked this year so maybe it won't matter. Speaking of injuries, Facing Spider without Happ for all and Stanton for two was certainly a help.

Jeep can still catch Semper (whose sweep was HUGE tonight). He needs to gain 2 games as he has the tiebreaker.

In other news Milleram clinched about a month ago.....

My team is 6-14 when Happ sits out with injuries. Going down for 15 in game 143 has been a killer. He has been a great value player, otherwise.

Yeah, when your 4e25 only makes 9 errors and gives up 6 fewer hits than he should he tends to be a bargain ;)

Finally a loss for Weaver. 19-1 is amazing! Not sure I've had 3 20-game winners on a team before.

Well crap. Weaver's luck runs out and we only score 2 runs in three games. Pathetic. Verlander is super good, but should have managed a bit more against Nola or Corbin. :(

Gotta get some help now. !#$%!#$!&$*&

Even one win keeps us with a reasonable chance. Now we have to hope that Jeep gets swept and we sweep. Oh, and Spider would have to lose at least one. Not all that likely. Dang.

My luck held out. The guys were down and frustrated until Reynolds / Villar along with Hill took huge pay cuts to join the guys.

We’ll see if the guys can hold it together for a few more games. We’re holding out hope for Luck be a Lady.
