Well, you almost got even with us last night Big A, but we managed to win a blowout in game 2. Wish would could have kept your, normally quiet, offense under wraps. :(

Leading the league with BS again this time and also way behind in bphrs. That's just a killer. Looks like this is just a .500 team (at best). Sad. Had three BS tonight including 2 in one game. Hudson who is a 3+ mil pitcher has 12 saves and 11 blown. That's pathetic. Not surprisingly he has a 5.07 ERA. Pretty realistic there. Of course, he's a LOT better than Newcomb (1.89 mil) who's sitting north of 7.50! That's just unexpected I have to say. Not like my park is Coors. You just can't blow 40% of your save opportunities. I mean, I didn't spend a lot on the pen, but we're pretty much middle of the pack in that regard. Blew a 6-1 lead tonight. That hurts.

On the BPHR front, we've given up 47/96 49%, not surprising given that our average park is 9.6 (48%) But, we're 29/75 or 39% maybe we only roll bphrs in pitcher's parks. :( I think if we had the same percentage (8 more HRs) we might have a couple more wins. Just maybe.

I think we're better than we've played, but probably not by much. This team just sucks.

Joe, just now saw Weaver's record, wow 10-0. He must be asking for help.

It says our league's subscription ends in three days, do we need to do something?

Yes, my SPs (at the risk of jinxing myself) have actually been close to if not better than expected (see Tanaka, a 3.39 ERA, but he's 1-7:? ). Weaver, not surprisingly, leads the team in Run Support. The pen must be getting all their saves for him and no one else. Gray has a 3.12 ERA but is 5-8.

Everything doesn't suck with this team or we wouldn't be .500 it's just frustrating to blow 6-1 leads often and have so many BS and of course, seeing the disparity in bphrs also is a bad sign. We managed to get two saves tonight including one that was set up to be a BS, but Brach, somehow, retired Melky and Didi (both off of their cards of course) to end the game. Brach is horrendous v LHB so we actually WANT to roll on the hitter's card when they are LHB!

We'll see if this team is better than .500. It rates well, but I'm not sure that the parks help it much vis-à-vis the other teams.

p.s. thanks Stoney

Ok, so we won 2 out of 3 tonight so there's only so much I can complain about, but blowing a 9-0 and 12-8 leads when Dansby Swanson gets TWO critical hits off of his own card v RHP hurt a lot. Oh, that doesn't count Taylor getting a hit off of Brach to ice the game. Ouch. Frustrating.

OTOH, we did win the two close games so it could have been worse.
