How long do I have my team?

Loved this board game as a kid. Friends and I are looking to create a league. The website, we are looking to go online version, list a team credit price which is reasonable. My question is that for a season, year, lifetime? I have searched the site, but can find no answer. Sorry if this is a dumb-a question.

It’s for one team for one SIM season, which lasts around 8 weeks, plus playoffs.
