Trevor Bauer- help. How does this work?

PostTue Jul 16, 2019 9:41 am

I am a new player to online, so thanks in advance for advice. This is not sour grapes.

I just played two series againt a team with Trevor Bauer. Both times, he came in in relief in one game, pitched multiple innings, then started the next.

https://365.strat-o-matic.com/player/92 ... 018/440284

49 pitches in game 85, then 146 in game 86. In game 86, he only got fatigued in the 8th inning. No fatigue at all in game 85.

Is this just an example of Strat being different than real life? If I wanted to do this, what settings would I use, and when would be stud Starter/Releiver be available to relieve?

Thanks.

In game 80 he was the only guy left in pen that wasn't tired in an extra inning game, then he started game 81---game 85 & 86 is harder to explain---but he my have been the only RP not tired in game 85 also if all the other guys had been used 2 in a row.

I have seen this happen between sets when someone like Bauer is not in the rotation, then set as the starter in per game settings right before the next set--but that would be game 3 of one set and game 1 of the next--extremely rare in games 2&3 of a set, and usually only in a situation like games 80-81.
