The good! We swept Smoke (got some breaks) in three close games and are now tied for a WC spot 3 behind Semper in the division.

The bad? We lost Marwin for 8 games. Hopefully the subs will play well in his absence (only seven more)

As described by above, the Central is very tight. In the WC, Jeep is only one game behind Smoke and me. He's six back of Spider a not impossible amount to overcome.

Only the West looks settled. I think it will be hard for AK to blow a seven game lead, but it's happened before.

The Lucky Pylons simply aren't. As expected.

I didn't expect the Gap to be so "plain vanilla" in the luck factors. Other than BPSI there was nothing interesting for my team. However, losing Harrison for 15 may adjust the injury factor a bit.

Falcon almost completely destroyed my staff last night. I only salvaged game three with a 4-run bottom-of-the-ninth comeback. I hear Jeep's footsteps. :(

That's not footsteps you hear. The first thing you'll see would be my high beams, but they probably won't catch up with you either.

Well, crap. Two BS lead to losing the series. We were lucky to win one against the "unlucky" Pylons.

If we don't make the playoffs it'll be because Swarazak and (especially) Giles haven't been very good. Swarzak is over 4 and Giles is just under 5 with a 1.5 whip! I know we're in a hitter's park, but I think that's sort of out of the norm maybe. We're middle of the pack in BS percent, but we just haven't had many chances. Looks like maybe it's a league-wide thing.

With that we fell two back of Smokey again. :(

And, to add injury to insult, we lost Trout for six. So we'll be missing Marwin and Trout for the next series. :(

Our subs for Marwin went 1-10 with a HR and 2 bb. Rua is hitting an amazing .082 in 62 AB. I know he's not all that great, but that's not expected.

Not like we don't have some guys doing well, we do, but those are couple of egregious areas where it's really hurting us.

Oh well, going to have to get lucky for the next six games.

Well, we weren't last night. Lost three close ones to Semper with the backups playing Ok. Mazara had a good first game and then went 0-7. Segura got a hit in each game. Lind not getting to a LFx hurt a little.

Three back of a PO spot and now Jeep has slipped past us too. Get both guys back tonight (although Trout will miss the first two and Gonzalez one) so hopefully. Would have been nice to have the extra LHB against Scherzer but what are you going to do???

I can't tell you how many times I've won two games and looked at the Standings and Smokey swept. This "winning a series but losing ground" scenario has got to stop. :x

You guys in the Central sure are involved in a lot of sweeps.

Jeep and I square off for 12 of the final 27. This could get tight in a hurry. :?

Ugh, didn't get to my team all day so now I imposed extra injury days on myself. :(

Oh well. Just made the changes, but I don't think it's going to matter.

Amazing that I even won two games last night when you look at this. :(

Your Current Injuries
Segura, Jean, through Game 136
McCann, James, through Game 137
Swarzak, Anthony, through Game 144

Recently Off the Injured List
Gonzalez, Marwin, healthy for Game 134
Trout, Mike, healthy for Game 135
Springer, George, healthy for Game 136

Having Springer AND Trout out at the same time means Galvis played CF!

WEll, not sure getting my lineups in place would have mattered as Smokey, smoked my a** in three straight. I think we're done. As Jeep points out, these guys just don't lose a series.

The injuries continue to mount as we lost Trout for the last two games of the series with Smokey. And, losing your best RP and the only one that has pitched even halfway decent for 10 games is just a brutal bad break.
