They really messed up the base stealing numbers (it seems to get worse every year).... There is absolutely no logic to it. Most players will not stand a chance of meeting half their real numbers even in an "AS PLAYED LEAGUE", with as played lineups...
There just doesn't seem to be ANY rhyme or reason to who gets which stolen base numbers on their cards... Many many players will have zero stolen bases, when they had 6 or more in real life.
No asterisks for players who stole 10 or more bases, some with less than 550 at bats? This is lunacy.

Well put... Maury Wills, Lou Brock , Ricky Henderson, etc., etc., etc. Spikes flying, wanting to do harm if you held your ground on the throw to first. And there were still HR's!
