I say no supp draft. We've already had this conversation a month ago. Let's get on with it already!!! This is getting painful...waiting...and waiting...and waiting!

Please, please, pretty please, load your teams for crying out loud.

Turtle has a point I guess. Not much available in the free agent pool right now.

I could let it go.

The rules did not take into account a layoff caused by a transition between sites with all the subsequent issues. Jody, look at it like a strike year. It just isn't normal, and things must be adjusted. And by the way, why did you not check in for a month? I repeat, a month! Are you kidding me? I check these boards every day, often multiple times. Please don't come in after not checking for a month and complain. Just load your team and let's go! Or let us find somebody more dedicated who will check in more than once a month.

I agree with Jody, the rules are clear and there should have been a supplemental draft . It is in my teams best interest to have a supplemental draft and I'm not totally clear as to why we didn't have one. However at this point I think it is in the leagues best interest to move forward.

I'm really enjoying the rebuilding process and I don't want to see the league die, but it has been so dormant through the transition, etc, that it feels to me like we are approaching that point. Therefore my vote is to move on.

That is if we are voting :)

Three (could be more) pretty good (many of stated them already) reasons not to hold the supplemental.
1. We had the conversation and those that weighed in agreed not to.
2. It wouldn't be a supplemental draft now; essentially it would be a free agent draft for next year thereby diluting the FA draft even more.
3. We are likely to spend another month arguing about it with the result that 90% of us are going to vote no supplemental.

no problem. we will stick to the rules this year and enforce the 1 hour time limit per pick. we'll be done in 2 days or less.
besides, sounds like half the owners have opted out already, so it will go even faster.

I'll begin the draft in a different thread

OK, we can do one, but in the interest of getting this going quicker, please go ahead load your teams. You can add the supplemental players before the season begins if you need them on your roster. If the draft takes too long to complete that is one the owners who wish to participate.

And this deal wasn't reflected on the roster sheet.
