Salary caps, and Live Drafts

PostFri Aug 31, 2012 3:18 pm

Hey, I was looking at starting either a 70's or 90's league, and was curious about how they work with the 100mil cap . . . I assume 70s is a bad idea, but haven't tried it before. I've only played 90s once, so I don't really have a lot of experience there. Does 100mil work for either?

As for live drafts, how do you designate this? I didn't see a live draft option when making my 80s team recently . . . how have they worked out with mystery card games?

100 mil technically works for all 3 mystery card games, but the player pool is so small that it can be extremely difficult if not impossible to recover from a bad autodraft. It's generally recommended to stay in the 60 or 80 mil cap for the mystery card.

As far as live drafts, they are generally done on the message boards. You get 12 people to sign up and do a draft that way. It can take some time to coordinate, but they are very fun to do. Not for the impatient.

Ah, so no legit live draft huh? Bummer . . . don't think my buddy is that patient. Thanks for the info though. I would have thought 90's would have been possible with 100mil so I'm glad I didn't start one.
