The league will consist of 9 seasons, starting in 1991, including every year of the decade until 1999. (Season 1 – 1991, Season 2 – 1992, Season 3 – 1993…

PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

A player’s eligibility is based on the years represented on his card – specifically the first and last. A player’s rookie season is the first year on his card – if their first card is pre-1991, then 1991 is their rookie season. A player’s retirement season is based on the last year on their card.

All players that have a first card (pre 1991 or 1991) will be eligible to play the first season, + All the 1M or less ...

Season 1 : There will be a live draft on the board (10 rounds- INClUDING A STADIUM)- We will need a randomizer).

Season 2 : There will be a draft (2 rounds) for all the new players that have 1992 as a first card (ranking 12-1, 1-12).

Season 3 : There will be a draft (2 rounds) for all the new players that have 1993 as a first card (ranking 12-1, 1-12)...

RESERVING PLAYERS

Teams reserve players by keeping them on their team roster. During the season, you have rights to any eligible player on your team, but once released they are available to any other team.

At the end of every season, you retain rights to all players on your roster**

***The 1M or less players will be free agents every season, with no team reserving their rights season-to-season.

Rookies not drafted will be available to any team as free agents (available through the autodraft, waivers, or free agency).

Unique ballparks, to be picked during the inaugural draft. You will be able to change it after any season for one that is available.

Trade for players will be possible, no DRAFT PICK.

Not sure there are enough players in 2000. Do you know?

I counted 142 hitters eligible in 1999 > $1.0 Mil plus 191 with salary <= $1.0 Mil. I'm likely to have miscounted on the 142, but not much off. That's about the same (maybe 5 or so fewer) as eligible in the starting 1991 season. I haven't counted how many disappear after 1999, but would guess close to half of the 142.

Right. A player has 5 cards (93, 94, 96, 97, 98, he will be available to play from season #3 (rookie season until season #8 (98).

All the players that have a card past 1999 but not 1999 will also be available to play season #9.

Except all 1M or less, these players will be FREE AGENTS for every seasons (9)...

I haven't counted how many disappear after 1999, but would guess close to half of the 142.

My numbers are almost equal to yours : I have 141 hitters for 19999 + 191 with salary <= $1.0 Mil.

For our first season we will have 148 > $1.0 Mil plus 191 with salary <= $1.0 Mil. I hope I didn't forget any hitters...
