no, this is not correct. The only walks that don't register are intentional walks. So, that W was from Carew's card. I agree with the previous post that there was a bunt-single or a hit-n-run/single. Bunts and hit-n-run attempts are not on either the pitcher or hitter card, so they do not register as a roll.

I am not a seasoned vet. I was thinking about a bunt...isn't a bunt determined by the rating on the hitter's card? So just for future knowledge...is the bunt determination stated above a fact or is it just for "pondering"?

Because a bunt does not generate a roll, a batter or pitcher may not suffer an injury on that play.
