I just discovered this morning that Jim Wynn died on March 26th of this year.

I don't know if it's because we were in the early phase of the shutdown where the news was primarily COVID-19 related all the time, but I don't recall having heard anything about it.

He clobbered 97 of this 291 career homeruns in the Astrodome, a mighty impressive feat.

Sad indeed, Ken. I grew up watching Wynne and the Astros during the Brady Bunch years and will miss The Toy Cannon. Imagine if he'd have spent his entire career in a park such as Fenway or Fulton...he'd have been inducted into the HOF years ago.
