A couple of rule clarification questions:
You can carry one player over from one decade to the next. I assume you still get 2 picks in the draft for the next season, regardless of whether you're carrying a player over or not. Is that correct?
Also, when choosing to carry a player over from one decade to the next, does that player need to be someone you drafted in the board/serpentine draft? Or can it be a player you picked up in the autodraft or as a free agent, or through a trade, during the season? I think the latter is preferable as it could create some trade possibilities later in the season.
Sorry, I missed these questions. Each team can carry an unlimited number of keepers provided that those players are on their rosters at the end of the season. Each new season (70s, 80s, and 90s), owners will list their keepers and we will post the keepers before the new 2 round message board draft. If you list a keeper, you must also list that player on your autodraft form for the new season. If a keeper is cut, he becomes a free agent.
