Just a reminder -deadline- for League 6 of Event IV is tomorrow (Thu) at 6pm sharp. Any Owner entering after that 6pm deadline will be counted as a "filler team."

For future reference here is League 6.

Deadline has passed. 8 Owners beat the deadline. Elmo's team isn't marked draft ready and will not count in the standings. Need 3 or 4 Filler Teams, depending if Elmo wants to stay in or not.

Anyone wanting to be a Filler team go ahead and load your squad.

Last year Elmo snuck into the Semi's. As a West member he caused stress by not marking his team ready until late into the team loading process. Maybe that is what's going on here. I PM'd him FWIW. He doesn't frequent the boards.

I've been saying throughout all Events that the rules and deadlines are being followed this year. I'm sticking to that.

Commish Jeep: This is the same thing you said in Events 2 and 3, so it should not really be a surprise. Great to have some consistency. Sucks for Elmo for sure, but enforcing the rules consistently has the fewest issues.

As I said above, Elmo marked his team ready.

It was after 9:30 when I checked. So he actually had a little over 3 & 1/2 hours past the deadline. If I let one person "slide" then I have to let everyone slide. Not marked ready (and he wasn't marked ready when I checked at 9:35) is NOT ready.

So Elmo is a filler? If so, one of the other members of the league should let him know that via league mail after the league drafts.
