This is ridiculous. I made my first pick Tuesday night.

Plan B:

Move on with the draft. Players skipped can make their picks when they return or at the end of the draft. Whichever comes first.

I think it's time for Plan B. In the past we have replaced no shows with the 37th finisher.

Agree. Commish needs to pick a way to move on. Not fair to those people who are paying attention and invested in the game.

I saw this somewhere:

“The draft has started, there's no Time Limit; but, the reason we had a roll call was to ensure everyone was aware and ready to roll. We're hoping that limits the downtimes. And, there's no "set" hours.”

I’m all for moving things along, but…following the “rules” that everyone was clamoring about earlier are now completely and totally malleable it seems.

What are we doing here?

Everyone understood that the draft was imminent so it’s hard to understand someone not checking in for 3-5 days…

And you posted this only a few days ago too:

Yeah, I’m poking the bear because I’m as frustrated and completely bored as anyone here. League 2 is almost done drafting by the way, too.

Yep, strange situation to be sure. But, at some point you've got to do something. I'm going to say we've reached that point given the advance notice and communication (i.e. roll call) up to this point.

MBW can also contact John at Strat. That’s what we did when a guy went missing last time. John can send direct emails and check moves on active teams.

As Gilbo said in the League 1 thread, we need to move on as this has been long enough, AND it’s not really that much of a “punishment” to have your pick lower in the draft. We are all building different teams - it’s not like we’re all after the same few players. The missing owners can pick and catch up when they check in.
