Pre-championship round announcements:
Champions League ("Unleashed" player set)
the 24 highest-ranked Managers in a single 24-team league
begins: TBD
Salary Cap: $60,000,000
Draft: Auto-Draft (standard)
DH Rule: No
Free Agent Drop Penalty: 20% (standard)
We will assign divisions for the final tournament round, so that the top seeded players don't end up in the same 6 team division. We'll do this with a serpentine order of ranking of finish for events 1 thru 4, across the 4 divisions, as follows:
East
1,8,9,16,17,24
Central
2,7,10,15,18,23
Midwest
3,6,11,14,19,22
West
4,5,12,13,20,21
Remember, you cannot use a ballpark that you have previously used in events 1-4. Doing so will result in disqualification from the championship or runner-up eligibility.
I will not prohibit any manager from re-using a ballpark that they used for a filler (unofficial) team, but you cannot re-use a ballpark from any official team entry in events 1-4 for the championship round. Please check your ballpark useage carefully.
Re timing - it looks like the final 24 won't be completely determined until sometime in the 3 week of March. I would like to start as soon as possible after that. So get your teams ready!!!!
