League 8 filled up in about 2 days. I think League 9 will fill up as well. We might need to get some people to join it as fillers, but I think we'll fill it up one way or another.

I know strat wants to keep things open to people joining still. We'll just keep monitoring how many people are joining up. So far there has been a really steady inflow of people joining the Players Championship, especially in the last 10 days. If it starts to slow down, then we will look at having a kind of closure on new leagues. But things are still rolling in with new participants, so League 9 will fill up.

It's great to see so many of the regulars from the old site joining up, including a lot of past champions! It's great to see you in the tournament!

Hi guys, I'm not registering for the tourney 'cuz I shy away from the "No-DH" game, but I'd be happy to act as a filler in a DH league. I have a little bit of experience with SOMO and will try not to embarrass myself.

No oblication, but you should try the no-DH game. It isn't really much different than the DH game, in terms of the game mechanics. HAL does all of the "in game' manager work, obviously!

Do you guys in Event 1 League 9 want me to jump in as a filler, to try to get this league in today (and thefefore start league play on Monday, with the waiver draft on Sunday)?

Let me know if you want me to do this - or let me know if you DON"T want me to do this.

My instinct is to get this league in so that it starts on Monday, along with many of the other recent leagues in Event 1.

I would have no problem with you joining as a filler.
