Top 9, last man standing, Labratory

My bid to finish top 9 for the 4th straight year failed, but it got me interested in top 9 finishes.

2 others finished top 9 with me for 2017, '18 and '19 - Labratory and The Last Druid.

Laboratory is in this year - I'm hovering around 30th, and Druid is not in the tourney (that or he is playing under "gazoontite", which doesn't strike me as a moniker Bruce would pick. Bruce's new name would be something like "Alekhine's Gun." I'm betting that's Christano1. Am I right, fellas? Only thing for sure is that ain't a new player).

So Lab currently has the longest unbroken streak of finishing top 9 which, it turns out, goes back to '15.

Lab is on an island as the only player to finish top 9 for 6 straight tourneys!

Since you mentioned it, Cristano is my guess as well. I'm confident it isn't Druid.
Interesting and entertaining post, thanks. Lab is a beast.
Congrats to all and hope to see you around Matt.

We have a 3-way tie for the final 2 spots in the semis. Looks like KAD1988 (1 Championship) and jugslavin (3 postseason births) leave chunga1 on the outside looking in. Every win matters, phew!

The Last Druid was in the tourney but dropped out after 3 events.

I beat Lab in the finals once and felt like I pulled off the impossible dream. He has wiped me out in every league we have been in since, and he probably doesn't even remember me...............the only saving grace for the rest of us is that this is a dice game. He is on another level. Eventually however, he will run out of names.

Grats to the top nine.

Yes congrats to all. Lab is a star manager, clearly.

And our mystery knight has captured our attention! I bet on Cristiano, too.

Wow, I was 15 points behind him after 3 events. Looks like I finished #31

With all the attention on in-league manager messages, I have to say I miss being in leagues with Druid and Matt/tmfw30 recently.

Always intelligent convos.

Was thinking of them today as I was listening to a debate between Thaddeus Russell and Michael Rectenwald on post-modernism. Matt and Druid are great opponents in many ways...

Cheers!

But wait...there's more! He also finished 10th in 2013 and in 2014 won it all after placing 14th and winning his Semi league to make the Finals.

chunga1 will be the first alternate and boyer14 will be the second alternate, in case any of the Semi-Finalists drop out or are no show.
