OK. what the heck happened... HankO quit, and now Delivery Boy of the Beantown Beaver Lickers (Lazy Daisy Ranchers)has secured a spot in the Semi Finals. Not complaining at all. A week to readjust. A week to get to know people again. What I DO have a problem with is why my riding mower is surging after a few governor adjustments and cleaning jets in the Nikki carb. Adjusted valves at combustion cycle to .005" TDC and may need a new extension tube and 'O' ring in the float bowl. Any ideas guys!!! Twin OHV 24HP BS. Crap.... Ya hit 1,081 hours and it goes to crap! The reason I dove into it in the first place? It threw a rod.
Mrs Delivery Boy is too busy watching re-runs of 'WEEDS" on Netflix to care unless she missed paying the cable bill.

Now that the horse is out of the barn, I'm curious to hear feedback about my choice to pick 12th. I'm sure it's a bad idea mathematically, but I get some comfort and clarity in team building by getting to choose my guys in pairs (plus with the player pool so large the effect of dropping a few spots should be negligible, I hope?).

The strategy has been used before, that's why we offer a draft CHOICE. Some believe that a person getting their SECOND pick before anyone else has an advantage, and you're right, the talent pool makes this so. You MAY HAVE made the smartest choice.

I don't know about 12th pick - in this context. Tmfw30 historically relies very heavily on super relievers. I'm betting he is hoping to snag at least Murray or Sutter and probably both with the 12th pick. Given Bernie's stated aversion to the super reliever strategy, it might be simplest for Bernie to snag one of these guys before tmfw30 gets a chance!

If there are any in this group who have not done a Dope Live Draft let me know. hallerose mentioned it to me and I sent him my d-dope live draft tip sheet and I also setup a mock draft with the two of us. I know MOST here have but a couple new names on this list. I can setup another mock draft with as many who want to be in it - you don't need to have 12. The mock draft with just the two of us worked fine. We have plenty of time now for everyone to get used to the site.

My first ATG Barnstormers tourney and first Diamond Dope live draft, so take it easy on me guys. Thanks Mighty Moose for the tips and mock draft.
