Congratulations to the Top 9 in Barnstormers 2017 - they will be joined by the Winners of the 3 semi-final leagues for the 2017 Championship League.

1. The Last Druid 533
2. Hank O 526
3. labratory 518
4. DonFESQ 517
5. hallerose 510
6. cristano1 508
7. JohnnyBlazers 506
8. mjruth 506
9. tmfw30 506
10. Semi-finals winner with most Wins in their Semi-Final League
11. Semi-finals winner with the next most Wins in their Semi-Final League
12. Semi-finals winner with the fewest Wins in their Semi-Final League

JohnnyBlazers finishes 7th for 3 Finals wins versus 2 for mjruth and tmfw30
mjruth finishes 8th for 3 Finals made versus 2 for tmfw30

Next up, every player in order from #1 to #9 will be asked to place their vote for Finals Salary Cap and DH/No DH and their live draft position choice. As the overall #1 finisher, The Last Druid will be asked to place his vote in the below format.

For salary cap, I vote for (80 or 100) Million.
If the majority vote for 80 Million, then my choice is (DH or NO DH)
If the majority vote for 100 Million, then my choice is (DH or NO DH)
My draft order choice for the Live Draft is (anything not picked from 1 to 12)

Once a player has made his selection, it is considered FINAL and cannot be changed.

The Live Draft will again be held on Diamond Dope - 16 Rounds which is 15 players and a stadium. This will be a serpentine (snake) draft with a 3 hour time limit per pick. Any stadium is allowed in the Finals, so long as it is Live Drafted. Once all players have made their first round draft pick, the clock will be turned on for 3 hours per pick for the remainder of the draft.

We will have plenty of time to get this vote in while the semi-finals is ongoing. If there are any finalists who have never drafted on Diamond Dope, we will run some test draft rounds, and my annually distributed D-Dope Live Draft Tips and Techniques cheet sheet will be sent to any or all players that request it.

Are there any questions about the Finals ?

The previous post in this thread didn't specify a time frame. I rarely check my email, just too much there, so I was waiting for this prompt, although it doesn't seem necessary to impose a deadline with penalties given that the previous post in this thread stated "We will have plenty of time to get this vote in while the semi-finals is ongoing."

Anyway:

For salary cap, I vote for 100 Million.
If the majority vote for 80 Million, then my choice is NO DH
If the majority vote for 100 Million, then my choice is DH
My draft order choice for the Live Draft is: First pick

I do have a question. I assumed that we live draft unique stadiums but the initial post on this thread seems to read otherwise. Just seeking clarification.

Use ANY stadium (no longer have the problem of using "groupings" as you do during the regular events.) BUT - the stadium must be live drafted on Diamond Dope as one of the 16 rounds selections. So if someone live drafts YOUR stadium before you do, it's gone and you have to move on to something else. In fact, in DD you can proxy stadiums and still use the "Remove if group picked" flag. - In the first post, I went back in and underlined "So long as it is live drafted" - hope that clears up the misunderstanding.

1. The Last Druid - 100 Mil / (80 NO DH 100-DH) / 1st pick
2. Hank O - SKIPPED - Declared not playing - (Open until the Finals league live draft in case he changes his mind)
3. labratory -
4. DonFESQ
5. hallerose
6. cristano1
7. JohnnyBlazers
8. mjruth
9. tmfw30
10. Semi-finals winner with most Wins in their Semi-Final League
11. Semi-finals winner with the next most Wins in their Semi-Final League
12. Semi-finals winner with the fewest Wins in their Semi-Final League

labratory is up

If the majority vote for 100 Million, then my choice is NO DH
My draft order choice for the Live Draft is 2

Don that is not in the proper format. You also need to specify what are your choice for DH if the final vote is 80 or 100 - are we to assume you want DH in BOTH cases ?

Just thinking, we should probably have a tiebreaker or two listed for Hank's spot just in case more than one team has the same number of points and doesn't win their semi-final league.

Sorry to hear Hank won't be able to play in the finals. I understand the decision made, given that the leagues start tomorrow, but it really sucks for the guy next in the standings who should rightfully have gotten the finalist bid on merit based on the gauntlet he successfully navigated to finish in 10th place. As it is now, it is little more than a lottery for the 12th spot. It clearly is Moose's call to make and he made it, but it seems, at least to me, that Bernie Ward is more deserving of that spot than whomever meets the criteria for not winning their semifinal yet amassing the most points. Just my two cents.
