Yes, it wont let you pick around them unless their clock has run out.

As per the instructions sent when we started, the player who is AFTER the expired clock player must make a manual pick.

OK, so someone has to ask a rookie question. If the waivers period is over on Sunday afternoon, will the first pitch be Monday night? I usually try to enter leagues that draft early in the week and can't remember what happens when it loads on Thursday or Friday.

Here's my issue: we are hosting our Super Bowl party, so I won't be able to do anything with my team Sunday night. I have to work on Monday, so I won't be able to do much to set up my team before Monday night.
I feel like my team may need significant renovations since I got snookered out of the parks I wanted (good job guys). I am hoping for some time to get this team ready and don't want to have a one-day turnaround.

Mighty Moose mentioned in an email about the new cards that anyone could add one of those cards if available after the waiver and weighted waiver periods. What are the weighted waivers? How does that work?

Lab-
If you don't join until Saturday the league won't start until the following Monday. I think if 12 teams load tonight then first pitch is Monday 2/7. It would be fine with me if you wait until Saturday to join, I don't know how everyone else feels but not allowing someone to make necessary post draft edits is anti competitive.

I agree, there is no harm in waiting a week and allowing everyone the time to make adjustments.

Waiting a week to start is fine with me.

I think the defending champ is entitled to have enough time to get his team in the best shape possible - before we knock him off the top spot!

OK, I will vacate and return on Saturday. I will not touch my team in the meantime, so it's exactly the same as it was entered Thursday morning.
Thanks for understanding.

Putting my team back in under protest at Moose's insistence.
At least 4 of the 12 have agreed to wait with zero votes (other than Moose) to go right away.

ok checking in here, I had not previously seen these comments.

As to the results of the e-mail I just sent out, cristano1 has approved waiting a week, bigbadboog has responded that he is okay with starting now this Monday.

EDIT: BruceF also wants to start on Monday.

ANOTHER EDIT: rburgh who is one of those who is not in yet, will have his team in TONIGHT. He had previously planned for the start date of Monday.

I'd say that this going about half that have PLANNED for a Monday start, and those that "don't mind" if we wait another week. So far, this isn't a definitive preference, one way or the other. I will go another couple of hours to let more opinions come in, but I'm leaning on staying on track for a Monday start.

rburgh WILL BE IN, the only one that can prevent a Monday start is Morpheus who hasn't been heard from at the moment as to his whereabouts.
