I played a lot of leagues back in 2002 and 2003 when Strat launched the original online game with Sporting News.
I remember those leagues had a free agent frenzy after the draft. I actually preferred that to the current waiver system. I understand that waivers works better for those that can't be on line at 11pm eastern the night of the draft, but for us night owls I find it more exciting and instantly gratifying.
If you haven't done a no waivers league and would like to try sign up quickly. We might be able to get this off the ground by Sunday night (perfect for those not working on Monday due to Labor Day).
