This is almost as bad as only adding 50 new ATG cards every six months...

At least give us a set, (or why not more than one) we care about.... Why not let us vote on it?.. I think very few people would have voted for 1998.

The 1998 set also has the generous fielding ratings not present in the 1969 set.

I think most people are going to be thoroughly disappointed, for a myriad of reasons. Who thought this was a good idea? Probably the same people who ruined the bullpen and ATG9!

I am excited for it. I was a kid when it happened.

Any season would have been fine. I like baseball and no era bothers me but I do get it. A lot of people hate my generation of baseball.

It's not hate. There was a costly strike and MLB turned a blind eye to cheating in order to regenerate interest.

More baseball is fine by me. I didnt play the 69 set, I bought the cards when they came out. And I prob wont play the 98 set, except when I treat myself and buy those cards too.

Speaking of... if anyone has any card seasons they no longer enjoy, and want to sell... send me a pm. For me, Im afraid it turned into something like baseball card collecting. Except its strato seasons... I have 14 seasons now, not many, but its a start.

I'd rather see team steal settings for 2nd, 3rd, and home before adding another card.
