Four Season Era vs Era League Moved to ILC

PostMon Sep 16, 2019 8:50 am

I'm bored with regular leagues right now, so I figured I'd see if there's interest in getting one of these going again. I'm also hoping the infusion of ballparks will spread the eras a little better than last time.
Here's goes

This is a 4 Season Commitment.
12 team League

Season 1 - $115 DH
Season 2 - $130 DH
Season 3 - $145 DH
Season 4 - $160 DH

Here are the details:
Prior to Season 1, we will conduct a 4 round snake draft in Individual League Chat (ILC). Draft order will be determined by randomizer. In Round 1 each owner will select a UNIQUE stadium and one player card. In Rounds 2-4, owners will choose 3 more keeper cards. ALL 4 keeper cards must be within 20 years of the stadium, plus or minus.
For example, if you select Royals Stadium '80, then ALL 4 of your keeper cards MUST be between 1960 and 2000. The 4 cards drafted cannot be dropped and/or traded or changed to a different year during the entire 4 season campaign. You must draft his specific card each season. You must keep the same ballpark for all four seasons.

Once the 4 Round (Snake) draft is concluded, we'll go to Auto Draft, where owners can fill rosters with players from ANY era and franchise without restriction. All subsequent season drafts will be by Auto-Draft. The only things you carry from season to season are your 4 franchise players + stadium. The franchise players will be listed as the bottom four on your draft card.

NEL players will be assigned the year of 1940. Each owner that has a stadium between 1920 and 1960 may draft a MAXIMUM of 1 NEL card among their 4 Franchise players. All remaining NEL players will be available to ALL owners in the Auto Draft each season.

Duplicate stadiums are allowed, but have to be different years. If someone chooses Shibe Al '41, another team may not choose Shibe NL '41.

After each season we will realign the divisions. The 4 playoff teams will be together in the East, the next 4 teams with the highest records in the Central, the teams with the fewest wins in the West.

Looking for owners that are willing to make an 8 month or so commitment and to stay on top of the initial draft so that we can complete it in about a week. If you want in, just copy and paste the sign up list in your response.

Please only sign yourself up. If you've got a friend who wants to join, nudge them to do so themselves.

And, feel free to ask any questions.

Let's see how this goes...

What does this statement mean? Wouldn't any player from any year be available in the Auto drafts?

In a previous version, a couple of people asked whether players out of ballpark range would still be eligible, so that sentence was added--though 1891 doesn't really make sense since it's within range. I'll edit.

Giving 1 bump to see if we can fill, or I’ll just move on.
