RP Trend/ Hal/ Coincidence?

PostWed Sep 11, 2019 10:13 am

I pay too much for RP. I have now noticed another good reason not to do so. I went back to my last 5 completed teams and looked at my 5 most recent current teams and I have discovered an interesting trend. I have had 30 RP's. The dice rolls have favored the hitters 27 times..the RPs 3 times. The total for all 30 RPs is is 54% in favor of the hitters. This trend goes even further back but I got tired. I have been told it all evens out however this has never happened. Is this just bad luck or is this something Hal does to mitigate the dominance of some RP cards? Any thoughts?

Could be your RP are getting fatigued. Check the play by play to see if they were at F0 -this is where a lot of hitter rolls come up

A good thing to check. Thanks. ( However, this would not affect the rolls going against 27
of 30 RP's)

I checked my recent teams, and 34 of my 46 relievers had favorable rolls. I guess I'm getting your luck

This is average team for me, I doubt fewer than 10% of my teams do my relievers get more rolls on pitcher's card, if I get positive rolls it is usually my cheapest reliever.

I usually lead league in injuries
The one time I get Bonds gets injured 7 times including 2nd game in playoffs

What I liked about that team was every pitcher had net rolls against except Tim Conroy!

The rolls will drive you crazy, I think it helps to live in New York.

This what I have experienced as well....it's 27 for the hitters, 3 for the RPs. This appears to be statistically significant (90%)

Why does the RP always give up a hit to the the first batter he faces?

That sure seems to be true. I’ve noticed the same thing.
