I have a lot of strong cheap hitter seasons. I don't have time to dig them all up now, but here is one where Dick Stuart (1.41 million, .901 OPS), Vern Stephens (1.40, .828 OPS) and Ron Kittle (1.19, 1.046 OPS) all went over 40 homers. 65 million dollar league

A little more expensive than your normal range here, but Walker Cooper just saved a season for me. Brought him aboard 45 games in when we were 15-30, we are now in the finals and have won 15 of last 16 games.

That is true, he did have an amazing season at the plate. Of course any time you get 103 wins, you probably have multiple guys outperforming their cards.
