+370 80m no DH

114 wins; no 20-game winners and Joe Nuxhall goes 17-0 and doesn't win the Cy Young.

37 games with 10 or more runs, with only one player hitting more then 20 home runs.

103 games lost to injury.

That might be the BEST team I've ever seen on here! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Steve F-

I did a crap ton of those Comanche teams in ATG7 and then at the beginning of ATG8. I was trying to break the win category for an 80m team. I came close twice, but not close enough.

It was an interesting theory, based on good, but not great, speed and extra base hits.
At it's simplest it was a team that scored a gajillion runs and then had good relievers to shut the door.
Once perfected, the theory worked best in ATG7.

Normally, I hate the DH and I hate HR hitting. So I was trying to make a dominant team that used neither, yet could still beat most teams out there.

All of the teams were 80m No DH

16 out of 21 made the playoffs in ATG7.
14 out of 18 made the playoffs in ATG8.

but 12 of those 29 playoff teams were 100 game winners. Only 7 won the Championship.(which shows that the playoffs are a crap shoot)

At one time, I had three teams in the top for 5 for wins in the 80 million category.

I liked those teams. I kept tweaking the line-ups, trying to get to 117 wins (I think the record is 118 now), but I couldn't get to the top of the mountain. Really fun climb though.

Now, I'm happily trapped in the world of Andy's Alt Leagues. I don't think I've played in a public league for over three years.
