Bunting

PostSun Dec 02, 2018 3:38 pm

Bunting for base hits is a computer game only option that has been often requested by our community to be turned off, so starting with this Monday night's games (Dec. 3), for all existing and future leagues, it will be disabled, and the computer manager will no longer attempt to bunt for base hits.

Hooray!!!!!

now if they would just fix the hit and run option and extend the infield in option to all 9 innings. i set hit and run on extra conservative and check the don't hit and run option on all hitters settings and HAL still tries to hit and run!!!

Interesting. I've never had a player set to "don't hit and run" attempt one.

so Ive got no issue with turning it off--

what I have an issue with is understanding where 'the community' made this request -- and why is this one being filled and not the myriad of others.

again-- not upset about the result- beyond confused about the way this conclusion occurred.

I have to assume it was emails to customer support. We know they don't monitor these boards (or if they do, very rarely)

You are probably correct--
that would not be a 'community' request then-- its an individual request, though it happens to be one I agree with.

Its just a bit of a concern because so rarely any of the requests get filled here-- why this particular one and not the ones that actual 'community' has asked to be done?

Don't know much about the bunting option, but it seems highly unfair to change rules "EXISTING" leagues literally overnight. There are many small ball teams in the Barnstormers Semis that will be impacted
