The Passing of Dave Anderson

Many of us are suckers for great sports writing. One of the giants has just died, Dave Anderson.

Thanks George for that. Sorry to hear about Anderson he was truly one of the very best. I was always a big fan of his along with a few others from that time ,it was a reason to buy a newspaper. The last few years we have lost some real giants from the journalism world , some of those writers [sports and social commentary] wrote like poets with swords . It just seems that those kind of writers are in short supply today . Bill
