If it's any consolation, 3 of the 4 winningest teams in MLB history, including the top 2 ('06 Cubs and 2001 Mariners), failed to take home the title!

1906 Cubs - 116-36 (lost WS)
2001 Mariners - 116-46 (lost LCS)
1998 Yakees 114-48 (champs)
1954 Indians - 111-43 (lost WS)

Not to mention the 1969 Baltimore Orioles, 109-53, and arguably the best team since the 1939 Yankees.

In any case, I'll try to avoid angering the Strat gods if I ever have another team win that many game
