Trivia

PostSat Jul 14, 2018 7:38 pm

Marte and Polanco went back to back in both games of a doubleheader today.

This has only been done twice before in MLB history. Each of the other pairs included a player who was named MVP of his league. All four players involved in the earlier occurrences are included in the ATG card sets.

Any guesses?

Paul is right. Frank J Thomas and Dick Groat did it for the Pirates in 57 and Bando and Reggie a decade or so later.
