Other league rules are as follows:This is a Carded franchise league with no Red Sox franchise. Pick either the Yankees alone or one of the 11 franchises from side
A: 1)Reds 2)Tigers 3)White Sox
AND a 2nd franchise from side
B: 1)Brewers 2)Senators/Twins 3)Diamondbacks 4)Mariners 5)Rangers 6)BlueJays 7)Rockies 8)Padres.
NO franchises can be duplicated. You may chose to auto draft any player that has a card for one of your franchises. If the player has ANY card for your franchise, you may choose ANY card the player has. The Red Sox and NeL players cannot be picked UNLESS they have a card for your franchise. You can have a Red Sox player if they also have a card for your franchise. Example: Elston Howard has a card for Red Sox and Yankees so the Yankees can pick him up. NeL players can NOT be drafted unless they have a card for your franchise. If Paige is not drafted by Cleveland he becomes a FA at waivers. If you get a NeL player or a Red Sock (who didn't play for your franchise) you must drop them before waivers. If you have more than one NeL or Red Sox player from the AD, please drop the highest priced player first and see if you can trade the other to a team that can drop them for you. During waivers and FA a team can add Red Sox (Williams, Yaz, Boggs, Garciaparra etc) and NeL players. If a player is carded only to a single franchise (for example Todd Helton is Colorado only), and that franchise is not selected, the player will become a free agent, available to any team. Also those players that are always questioned are FREE AGENTS... BARNES, SEWARD, and other pre 1900 guys,etc... TWIST- ONLY THREE NON CARDED PLAYERS PER TEAM - Through trades or FA, you may only have three FA. This should even up the stacked rosters for those joining later. By opening night the only players that can be on your roster are the ones that have a card for your one of your franchises, Red Sox players, NeL players, those teams not picked and players you traded for. Traded players are not restricted by franchise so long as both teams have the rights to the players they are trading away. Please label your team name with the teams you picked.
