New franchise league

PostSun Nov 12, 2017 4:40 pm

Description: A New twist on an Old League - 200M Player Set: ATG 8 Skill Level: Standard Draft type: Auto List Draft Salary Cap: $265,000,000 FA Drop Penalty: 20% Managers may own multiple teams: NO- DH Rule: yes Waivers: yes Postseason Format: 2 rounds: Best-of-7, Best-of-7 Opening Day: Monday, Jun. 26, 2017 Description: Description: New Grouping with a Twist 200 million cap with frenzy. Teams are grouped as follows: 1.) Yankees/Mets 2.) Cardinals/Kansas City 3.) Pirates/Phillies/Toronto ( 3 franchises) 4.) Giants/A’s (PHA-Oak.) 5.) Dodgers/Angels 6.) Reds/Indians 7.) White Sox/Cubs 8.) Braves (BSB-MLBR)/Brewers 9.) Orioles/Twins (Old Wash. too)/Tigers (3 in this group) 10.) Rangers/Dbacks/Astros/Padres (4 for this group) 11.)Red Sox/Expos-Nationals 12.) Negro League/Rockies/Mariners/Florida (4 teams in this grouping). PLAYERS MUST HAVE A CARD FOR YOUR TEAM. You may use any card but you MUST have one for your team. For example, A-Rod has cards for the Rangers and the Yankees, so either franchise can draft him. If the Rangers get him in the draft, the owner of his card can use A-Rod’s Yankee cards or his Ranger card. Please use the Franchise pull downs for the correct players when drafing teams. No duplicate franchises. Please read thoroughly BEFORE you draft. Use your team’s name or nickname in the team name. Must use a franchise stadium. No duplicate teams. In case of disputes as to whether a player has played for a particular franchise, said player must be listed in the franchise listing for that team per Strato. TWIST: 265M salary cap and Trades are OK! Trade from strength to bolster your lineups... BUT after initial Frenzy ZERO, NO waiver wire moves... ONE day to get it right after FA and waivers. NO FURTHER ROSTER MOVES... get a bunch of injury's?? better plan ahead! NO ROSTER Moves after FA Frenzy ( 24 hours ) Trades also during this period or prior ONLY! I must give the credit to the League Bob Hoser started for the idea, I am not that creative to see these groupings... Have fun folks.
