Agree but went with 12 because it gives 3 teams the possibility of achieving a credit. (The champion -2, champion loser-1, and random team -1) Also with a six team league the "winner" can be decided much earlier if a team runs away during the season. The 12 team allows for the possibility of an 83-79 wildcard team having a great playoff run and winning the 2 credit championship prize.

I agree, based on all we've heard about his prowess as a slugger, Josh Gibson is the best-ever behind the plate.

For those already in or those interested in joining "The Best All-Time 25 Man Roster Challenge League" there will be a change to that 25 man roster.

Since Gagne was not on the roster in the article and Kimbrel is not available, Gagne will be dropped after the draft so as to be available to all other teams during waivers. The pre-selected team ("Best Team") will use a 24 man roster during the season. This change is being made so the team has only players that were on the roster in the article/original post.

Thanks to those teams that have joined and please consider joining if you are not currently in the league.

Note: Other teams may not select Gagne during the autodraft. Gagne may only be selected by other teams during waivers or free agency.

There currently is no "Best Team". The remaining owners can decide if they want another owner to become the "Best Team", just allow the 25 "Best Team" roster players to become available to all teams at waivers or make some other arrangement.

Owners can also withdraw from the league if there is no longer enough interest.

The possible free credit to one team from me was also withdrawn as the league did not fill by the deadline of August 11th.

Thanks to you and the other owners for joining and being willing to give the league a try. Unfortunately, there was not enough interest to fill the league by my August 11th deadline.
