Being a huge Tiger fan I first started following them in 1960 Bunning was one of my first idol's and my first heartbreak in baseball came when he was traded to the Phillies for I believe Gus Triandos and Don Demeter.Unless someone else has done it since he is the only pitcher to win 100 games in both the American and National league

A real model of consistency. I had the pleasure of shaking his hand and grabbing his autograph a few years ago when I visited Cooperstown during induction week (on one of his Strat cards, no less). RIP, Jim.
