Quite often, I have left by lineup blank for the first series of the season, just to see what Hal might come up with. On occasion, I have even used some of his ideas. But this lineup, for a 140M Dunn team against a RHP, will break me of that habit.
W. Boggs 3B
L Boudreau SS
J. Mize 1B
T. Stearnes LF
B. Herman DH
N. Lajoie 2B
T. Speaker CF
T. Cobb RF
L. Santop C
Speaker and Cobb, pretty good 7-8 duo. And then it is also very important to have your slowest guys at the top of the order, just to keep things under control on the bases.
