H&R rule question..

PostSun Oct 11, 2015 3:08 am

Top of 9th, man on 1st, no outs - Billy Hamilton (1894) at bat:

B.Hamilton h&r Home Run (RF) 1-H b-H bpHR 1-4

Looking @ H&R chart, zero HRs, zero bpHRs on his card - just wondering how he hit a bpHR on a H&R??

Thanks, Roland

Probably off the pitcher's card.

Gotcha, from
www.baseballthinkfactory.org/btf/pages/basesim/somrules.

"If the single-die is 1, 2, or 3 then he refers to the Super Advanced Hit and Run Chart (which is found on the Super Advanced Miscellaneous Charts page) using the batter's H&R rating. If the single-die is 4, 5 or 6, he reads the result directly off the pitcher's card in the usual manner."

Pitcher was Daryl Patterson (1968) who has 4-2 & 4-12 bpHR rolls v left handed hitters.

Thanks!
