Name the 11 players who hit the most homeruns in their first three seasons. (11 because there is a tie for 10th).

Teixeira is tied for fourth.

I should specify that we are talking about the first three seasons that a player made an appearance. Banks would have made it except for a September call up in 1953 (those 10 games count as his first season).

Off top of my head...

Tony Conigliaro
Albert Pujols
Griffey
Juan Gonzalez
Mark Mcgwire
Jose Canseco
Arod

These listed is assuming you mean first 3 full seasons and not just first 3 period. Many would get derailed if the latter if they were a late season callup their first year or two.

Listing Conigliaro because I remember reading somewhere once he was off to one of best starts for a career in history before getting hit in the head. Might have been most by a certain age or something instead of most in first 3 years though.

Going to toss Juan Gonzalez in the ring because I seem to remember him springing on the scene pretty quickly and looking very HOF-like until he was traded from hitter friendly park in Arlington to death valley in Detroit and subsequent injuries.

Seems like I remember big Mac hitting HRs from day one. And ditto Jose Canseco.

Tossing Arod out there because seems like his name always came up on those youngest to reach milestone conversations.

I'm gonna say Mathews, Dimaggio, F. Robinson & T. Williams. I think all 4 broke in without the late season call-up.

Ralph Kiner....maybe?

To be clear, it is just the first 3 seasons period (which knocks out Arod, Canseco and Gonzalez). McGwire and Conigliaro are tied for 14th (with 84 homers). There are some HOFers in the top 11.
