Don't know if anybody esle heard him the other day.
I have to share 2 stories he told DP.
DP asked Chipper if any memory or memories stood out in his time playing.
Chipper started laughing and told him there were but couldn't share them on the air.
He did say he could share 2 things about the grossest person he knew... Greg Maddux. (He said it jokingly, as he was fond of Maddux)
He said...
1. Maddux and the other SP's use to play golf all the time before afternoon/night home games. They would then come to the park after playing. Maddux had his locker near the sock/stirrup bin where guys would grab their socks/stirrups for the game. Maddux would always wipe his ass with a pair of socks and put them back in the bin. Then wait for the first guy to grab them and watch their reaction.
2. On games that Maddux pitched, he would come back into the locker room when the game was over. Strip down to his underwear. The he would turn his underwear inside out and wear them under his clothes after the game.
