Mark McGwire def 3 e16 is my starter 9.36 card at 1B
he is set to never be pinch run for
he is set to never avoid any pitcher
he is set to never be replaced for late inning defensive substitution
basically, all settings possible are set to never have him removed barring injury
after walking and scoring in the 7th inning below, and NOT part of any double switch, why the (insert expletive of choice) does HAL substitute John Wockenfus my platoon catcher, who is a worse 4 def rating at 1B (e7), when NO settings have him going there, and when he should have been simply replaced by Santop as part of the platoon PH switch that occurred...of course, that isn't good enough (for HAL, sorry HAL, I don't understand you at all)....HAL then subbs in a reserve (for no reason at all) in the infamous "musical chairs" end of game free-for-all, Sweeney, who is SAME def rating as McGwire (3) and only a paltry 5 points less error rating (11 to 16).....what benefit does this wasting TWO players (McGwire and Sweeney, the latter being removed from the bench for future possible PH or reserve options) and ending up with a much worse overall situation ?
why would HAL stick a worse offensive player and worse defensive player (same guy) into a starting position players slot, without reason, without choice (no settings indicating to do so), and without seemingly any sense at all ???
