aggressive base stealing

might be a stupid question, is there any way to indicate or control which bases are being stolen or attempted ?

SOM seems to have an idiotic knowledge of normal baseball strategy, and for example in a one run game, after successfully stealing 2b with less than 2 outs, the computer/SOM/algorithm then foolishly sends the runner to try and steal 3rd

is there any way to prevent this, or even to prevent steals of 3rd (or home for Jackie Robinson's/Ty Cobb's sake) altogether ?

It's an issue. More control over base stealing is one of the most requested improvements to the game by the community.
