Auto-Drafts Not Running

What's up with the auto-drafts not running? I've joined two leagues in the last few months where this happened.
It says:
"Our system has detected an issue with this league that has prevented the Auto-Draft from running. While rare, there are a number of possible issues that could exist, including a team having an improper player on its draft list, or having too much salary. We'll be investigating the cause of this delay, and should have a resolution probably with the next 24 hours. Thanks for your patience."
How can this possibly happen?
