2020 or 2021

We are currently starting the free trial season based on 2020 imagined stats, but will be purchasing a credit for a full team. I'm assuming each credit is for one team/season. Would you all suggest joining a 2020 imagined stats league now, or waiting to join a league with the upcoming 2021 stats that will become available in February/March?

I hope I'm not wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure that when you buy your first credit, you actually get 2 for the price of one. Which means you could play both! Can anyone confirm that they still do it that way?

I would go with 2020a if you purchase--because I don't see a 2020i league in the league directory other than a 24 team league with a timed draft that has been there for a long time--there is a 2020a with 4 teams in at the moment.

You could create a 2020i league, but it would be hard to fill the league this time of year. Most people are waiting for 2021 by now.

Yes, come join us in 2020a Autoleague 458334. There are still 2020a leagues being formed. One league filled on Sunday. It would not surprise me if this league was filled by the weekend.

Thanks all! It is still 2 for 1 for the first time signing up so we will take advantage of that. We're going to see how this 21 game free league goes and then will keep an eye out for 2020a and the new 2021 leagues.
