Description:
This will be a Dual-Franchise League using teams from the 1982 season. The owners will be those who range from beginners to intermediate players (ie. no more than 100 teams in total). This is not a keeper league. Should we use this format again, each season would be a fresh start for all.
• A 24 pick snake draft will determine which two teams each owner uses for the season.
• Commissioner will determine draft order randomly and draft will be conducted via strat email over a 2 or 3 day period.
• Owners will draft their teams using only players from the two teams they drafted and no other players are allowed on a roster for the duration of the season. No trades, waiver or free agent pickups for players from other franchises is permitted. Your two teams serve as your active roster and minor leagues for the season.
• When owners set up their auto-draft online, they will just use players from the two teams - this will ensure everyone gets the players they should on their respective rosters.
• Name your team to reflect both franchises (ex. Pittsburgh Tigers or Detroit Pirates). This way we can all QC to ensure rosters are accurate. (honest mistakes can be made!)
• Choose your stadium. It must be from one of your two teams
