I've seen a few posts about the new 1969 limited run season so perhaps posted this information and invitation is okay in this area.
StratOMatic has tweaked their parameters to permit a 1969 $60 million 24 Team league. It's the first MLB season there were 24 franchises, the lower cap should make this league extremely competitive and realistic. Here's the parameters:
24 Teams
$60 million
1969 Roster
No DH
Waivers
5% drop all season
Everybody's roster will be tight but the $60 million cap will make sure nobody can get lucky in the autodraft and end up with a team of studs.
It's called the "Honor Role SupeRealistic League." People who join need to be aware that after the autodraft because of the lack of .50 players, some teams will end up over the $60 million after autodraft. Players need to be cool about subsequently managing their roster to stay within the proper parameters before opening day.
It would be great if everyone had to draft a unique stadium as well, but that's too time consuming and complex.
