Play by play question

PostFri Jun 26, 2020 2:24 am

In the 8th inning in my tie game jose iglasis pinch hit for me. He rolled a 1-6 against a righty pitcher. On his card it says double 1-11 or single 12-20. But in the play by play it said ground out. Can someone explain this to me.
Thanks
This was to lead off the inning

I'm guessing the "guarding the lines" feature is implemented in Baseball 365 and with the infielder guarding the line, a would-be double became a ground out, overriding the result on the card.

I've never seen a description of which computer game features are "turned on" in Baseball 365 (e.g. catcher blocking the plate, rare plays, etc.), so, it's a bit of a mystery, but, the evidence suggests "guarding the lines" happened here.

Where is that feature mentioned and what does it entail?

You posted the wrong link, but I found the right one (semis game 5). Yes, it must be one of the secret settings. Jose is a lousy bunter (rated D) so no worries about that, allowing the 3b to play the line and robbed him of a hit.
