I will be happy with either 2 or 5 rounds. My preference is 2 simply because we would start play quicker.

Strat gives is the option to specify the salary for each league. Should we form our teams and specify a 75M salary cap?

My sentiments are like Carl's above. If we decide on 5 rounds we wouldn't start the league until the new decade based on the speed of picks so far and Christmas approaching.

I have already created my team and set 75M as the custom salary cap. I began with my 25 protected players and am dropping/adding as I pick the FA. If we all do this we will be ready to load into the league when it is time very quickly.

I'm for 2 rounds with a frenzy - everyone loads their two FAs plus other players to keep under the cap (while keeping at least 20 from your team).

Any player not loaded is no longer protected. If you can't live with the risk of not getting a desired FA, wait until the frenzy to make those roster moves.

Good points for 2 rounds. My thinking was fuzzy and frenzied when I imagined getting protected players from other teams. It wouldn't happen, the way autodraft works. I change my vote to 2 rounds.
