I'll echo what Palmtana said (although I don't think Chapman is, overall, a better offensive player) Ramirez gets a bump over Chapman for the following reasons:

- e 13 versus e23
- Can't get injured
- 8 BPHRs both ways. Guys are priced for their best park. Yes, if you use him in AT&T he's not worth the money.
- Higher OB v RHP
- More of his hits are XB. Not that he has more TBs, just that his hits are worth more.
- He'll steal some bases.
- Ramirez has 0 DPs on his card, Chapman has 19 and 17.

It all adds up two a 2 mil difference.

He shouldn't hit for a high average with that card. In the average park, his hits/108 is only .193 v RHP, .244 v LHP. He should get on base and hit some XBH/HRs and, if you have some OB ahead of him, drive in runs with the XB hits.

lindor is worse for me. 9.15 mil, better be in a hr park facing 75% lhp. I benched him for iglesias with my al central team. The only shot I had was ramirez and Lindor to dominate.

JRam after 96 games. His current line is
.189 Avg
.292 OBP
.351 Slug

Before blaming all of his woes because he is in the deadball Marlins Park, here are his Road Numbers. Nearly as pathetic.
.192 Avg
.299 OBP
.363 Slug

On the same team, my $8M outfielder has some exciting numbers as well. Soto:
.211 Avg
.316 OBP
.375 Slug
