Will there be any SP* this year, with all the changes?

It would seem that the SP* designation is probably a thing of the past - at least in the regular season.

James "Big Game" Shields, among others, will be available as a SP*.

According to the Ratings Guide there will be 18 SP*'s for the 2018 game. I've got the guides going back to 2006.

Why are there any? No pitcher started more than 33 games...which is once every 5th game.
