These are no way final. Justin Bour card for example is showing 2.81 million, which it won't be. I've looked up a few now, and some are just way off like that.

not sure that bour wouldn't be fair at that price. DH only low batting average, platoon only and needs a HR park to really have a chance to produce.

They price cards for an average stadium (9/9). So there are going to be outliers for those that are good values based on that. The formula used weighs OB a little high for my tastes, but then that's why you find bargains.

$2.81 is fair for Bour. He's a DH with no speed who will only perform against RHP in a hitter's park. Much better options out there...

geekor,

Actually pricing in the 200x game is based off the highest value for one of three environments pitcher friendly park, neutral park, and hitters friendly park. This still allows for some values, but is designed to give players like Bour's a price bump so they are not a ridiculous bargain when put in the right offensive environment.

Assuming that's true, it's different then how it used to be and an ASININE way to do pricing. No one should have to deviate each card based off possible usages in different environments to determine a good value or not. If that is the case, game keeps getting stupider the longer I'm here.

The reason it's asinine is if, say someone was put higher price in case they were used in a hitters park, they are priced accordingly for that only. That means a huge penalty if used in a pitchers park. That isn't right.

If that is the case, then each card should have a designation to mark if it is priced neutral, hitters pr pitchers park.

Geekor, how is it different than real life? Lefty power hitter is going to have more value in Yankee Stadium than AT&T (Oracle) so you would pay more for that. Isn't it up to us as managers to find the cards that play best in our stadium of choice?
