I won 99 Games with a pitching staff where my ace Wade Miley's salary was $1 million and everyone else was less. I ran with an 8 man rotation and carefully selected each Start based on my opponent. And utilizing 4 great relievers helped a ton.

Yep , found it! Won my division with a pitching heavy, pitchers park team. I still to this day call the 8 cheap SP strategy "the Obeepie Method"

What IS up with the other team? They had Andrew McCutchen batting 6th and Votto on the bench and a bunch of no named stiffs batting 1 through 5....

A bad team is one thing, but are they even TRYING to win???? Seriously?

I do hate raining on your hit parade, (which is still impressive) but I think the opponent may be trying to lose on purpose. Which is why I am real careful about the theme and keeper leagues I join.

eveyone has different ways and views to build a keeper league...i built my team to win now...in the yrs 2013--2015 I will suck...and i'll be the one getting beat 20-0 on nights....I have never played a keeper league before so i went with winning it all the 1st 3 yrs.
